Our journey
We built it for ourselves first.
Instructed Intelligence began as a portfolio of ventures run almost entirely with AI. We hit the fragmentation problem before we had a name for it — every session sharp, nothing accumulating — so we built the knowledge layer that fixed it. Then we found we were not the only ones who needed it.
Run on the platform we sell
A small, agile team delivering scale and quality far beyond its size.

The belief
Most enterprise software exists to work around human limits.
Filing, finding, summarising, proving. A large part of every estate is there because nobody can hold what the organisation knows in their head. For decades that was the right answer to a real constraint.
AI does not lift that constraint while it remains a guest in those systems. It reads whatever it can reach, writes nothing back, and starts again tomorrow.
Which is why individuals get faster and the organisation does not.

DORA, 2024
Everyone got faster. The organisation did not.
Our vision
Change how every organisation learns, decides and delivers.
Our vision is a platform beneath every organisation’s AI. One place where what the business knows is held as facts it can trust, where every decision is recorded once and read by everyone, and where the work itself keeps the knowledge current. An organisation that runs on it stops paying the tax of forgetting. It learns faster than it grows, decides from evidence rather than memory, and delivers at a pace that used to need many times the people.
That changes what an organisation is. The layers of software that exist to help people file, find and re-check fall away, because the knowledge is already where the work happens. What remains is what holds value: the judgment, the relationship, the system of record. We are building the layer that makes that possible, for every sector where being wrong is expensive, starting with the ones where it is most expensive of all.
This is how we picture it. Every building is an organisation running on its own knowledge, inside its own boundary, owning everything in it. The beacons are Instructed Intelligence at work inside each one: a bank, a law firm, a hospital, a ministry, a manufacturer, side by side, none of them sharing a fact with the next, all of them working the same way.
Our mission
Build the layer the rest of the estate can run on.
One shared layer, fed by every surface: the knowledge a business owns, typed, cited and versioned — and owned by the enterprise, not rented from us.
Start where the pain is sharpest. Let it compound. Let the rest become optional.

Join us
Want to join us?
Instructed Intelligence is not just a platform. It is a way of working, and it is how a team this small delivers what you see on this site.
Everyone here works alongside AI every day, from one shared source of truth, with the work and the decisions recorded as they happen. Nothing is re-explained, nothing is re-derived, and nobody is the only person who knows. That is how a team you could seat at one table runs twenty-eight projects and ships at the pace of a company many times its size.
We are always looking for smart, highly capable people who want to work this way. We do not publish job openings. If that sounds like you, write to us and tell us what you would own.
What we look for
People who finish things
The hard part is not starting. We value the last ten per cent — the tests, the migration, the honest note about what did not work.
Accountable for what AI produces
Everyone here works alongside AI daily and is accountable for what it produces. Being fast is not the point; being right and being able to show why is.
Writing things down
Our knowledge is a shared asset, not a private one. If you would rather explain it once, well, than five times badly, you will recognise how we work.
